Oceanport, NJ - As the dust settles on a closely watched race and with 100% of the districts reporting, initial results indicate that Tom Tvrdik, Rick Gallo, and Bryan Keeshen have clinched the Republican Nomination for the Oceanport ticket in the forthcoming fall elections. Despite facing stiff competition from Keith Salnick, Danielle Lacko, and Dana Pisane, the trio managed to secure a significant victory in the primary, setting the stage for a potential victory as elected mayor and council members.

Tom, Rick, and Brian campaigned on a platform of strong community fundamentals: highlighting their history in the town, relationships with local organizations, and recent municipal improvements to the town of Oceanport.

With no other registered candidates in the race, Tvrdik, Gallo, and Keeshen will occupy the fall ballot solo, making them the prime contenders for the elected positions in Oceanport. Barring unforeseen circumstances, their nomination positions them as the future mayor and councilmen to steer the town's future in the coming years.

The defeated candidates, Keith Salnick, Danielle Lacko, and Dana Pisane, would theoretically still have the option to pursue a write-in campaign, a strategic move that could potentially change the November ballot. Keith Salnick, who narrowly missed securing the nomination, will continue to serve on the council until December 31, 2025.
